Put some fun into you life. Go play. 

Fun in the Tire Swing


I read an article on Your Health blog by Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Michael Roisen about how play can improve your physical health. The holistic benefits of taking your inner child out to play is your mind, body and soul reap the benefits.

Make a list of 10 things you like to do that are fun. Try to leave out competitive games. Let your creative imagination take you away. Think back to when you felt the joy of play as a child. If you need some inspiration take a look at Laurie Hawley’s blog the Aha Life Design post The Importance of Play.

 Here’s my list:

  1. Gardening
  2. Hiking
  3. Walking in the rain
  4. Exploring nearby parks
  5. Biking
  6. Playing the piano
  7. Drawing and coloring
  8. Throwing a ball
  9. Flying a kite
  10. Playground swing
