Do you make new years resolutions?
I read a post by Gretchen Ruben who proposed an idea which is a new twist on an old idea. Gretchen suggested picking a theme for the year. I have chosen balance as a theme for 2011.
Truly, I value a balanced life for many reasons which I will discuss later. The theme concept is appealing to me because it allows me to create choices and to set goals that are congruent with my values. Hence, I am in the process of setting goals. If something isn’t working I can adjust my goals and keep working at creating balance. It is an effective strategy for getting at what works.
