You’re Not Who You Think You Are

You have probably heard these sayings:

  • I think therefore I am.
  • Learn to think for yourself.
  • Develop your mind.
  • Think harder.

Our society teaches us that thinking is the ultimate human ability. We are encouraged to think logically and to think positively. Of course, thinking skills are very important. But, there’s more to you than your thoughts!

In this workshop you will learn how to connect with that part of you that is separate from your thoughts, a part of you that’s able to observe your mind in action, and is able to notice your mind’s habitual and sometimes self-sabotaging patterns. This is your observing self.

In this workshop, you will learn ways to utilize your observing self and develop psychological flexibility. You will learn to free yourself from the limitations of your thinking mind.
